Our Story

Reinventing the classic yema cake with Remilly’s, it will always be an all-time favorite. But at Remilly’s, we believe there’s a lot more to discover and to love on this classic Filipino dessert.

The brand was founded by its namesake, who started baking cakes as a hobby and her passion for business that shifted her career.

In 2014, the demand started to increase with a simple post in social media. She then started joining bazaars and other tiangges. Word of mouth quickly spread about their soft, melt-in-your-mouth chiffon cake and their delectable but not-too-sweet custard-based yema icing.

From the classic yema cake, Remilly’s introduced other equally sumptuous flavors such as chocolate yema, mango yema, ube yema, mocha yema and many more.

Remilly’s Yema Cake quickly grew from a mom-and-pop store operation to having more than 20 branches. Along the way, they also started developing other yema-based recipes and diversified their products, offering other Filipino desserts and pastries such as ensaymada, merengue candy, the classic mamon and toasted mamon with various flavors such as mocha, chocolate and ube.

In 2019, the success of Remilly’s Yema Cake garnered them the Tagumpay ng Malabonian Award. And their journey for further growth and expansion is just beginning.
